- October 24, 2007 Meeting
was held to recap about the workshop and plans for future workshops.
- September 26, 2007 Meeting
had continued discussions concerning MapMod updates, plans for future events and outreach activities.
- August 22, 2007 Meeting
included discussions of the following matters: Map Modification, No-Adverse Impact, Property, and Flood Insurance.
NWS provided a hurricane workshop at the meeting.
- June 20, 2007 Meeting
provided a re-cap of the Annual Conference. Other interest items involved the Disaster Declarations
associated with spring floods and map modernization efforts in Rhode Island.
- April 24, 2007 Annual Meeting
in conjunction with the annual conference provided for election of officers and board of directors.
- April 6, 2007 Meeting
ironed-out the final logistic, plans for the annual conference, setup for CFM exam. A Quick Guide - simplified plans
for building along the flood plain was unveiled.
- March 14, 2007 Meeting
involved the nominations and election of new secretary and at-large members, our status of becoming part of ASFPM,
changes in the by-laws, our Web Site, and extensive review/planning for the annual RIFMA conference.
- The two meetings, held on 1 February 2007 and
22 February 2007
discussed the organization aspects of the board/committees/chairs, the progress on RIFMA Constitution/By-Laws,
chapter membership to ASFPM,our upcoming conference, changes to our Web Site, and the financial aspects of RIFMA.
- January 2007 Meeting
discussed the membership guidelines for RIFMA, our organization and involvement with ASFPM,
our newsletter, our Web Site, and the financial aspects of RIFMA.
- December 2006 Meeting
discussed activities in the creation of RIFMA, the set-up of interim committees,
and the planning of the annual conference.
- November 2006 Meeting
brainstormed goals for RIFMA, established interim board, and discussed potential candidates
to help establish RIFMA.
